The penthouse occupies a corner position on the 5th and 6th floors of a newly completed block of apartments, in the pleasant district of Tosmur, 5 km from the centre of Alanya. It is a quiet residential area, with small corner shops and local restaurants and bars. The apartment is just 250 metres from the beach, where you can hire for a nominal fee a sunbed and parasol, and enjoy a cold drink and simple lunch from a local beach bar.

The complex has an attractive good sized swimming pool, with a sunbathing area. Also an adjacent hotel, the Sevkibay, is more than happy for our guests to use their beautiful pool (at no charge), pool bar and restaurant.

Nearby is the Tosmur shopping centre, a Bazaar, friendly cafes, a car hire/excursion office, Hamam for Turkish baths, and within a few minutes walk Alanya Aqualand, and Go Kart Circuit.

The apartment is on the road to the lovely Dim Cayi River, and the Tauros Mountains. Nearby buses run to the River with their exceptional restaurants, and of course into the busy Alanya Centre. They are both cheap and frequent.

Accommodation:

On the lower (5th) floor, reached by lift or marble lined staircases, is a lovely light and airy lounge, with sitting and dining areas, and a modern well-equipped American kitchen. All the designer furniture is new, apple green sofas, and bamboo dining table and chairs. Leading off is a balcony with sea views, and co-ordinated furniture. In addition on this level is a lovely double bedroom with its own private balcony, a twin bedded bedroom, and a super bathroom with a swish ‘jacuzzi’ shower.

A staircase leads up to a stunning ‘bed sitting’ room with a timber lined high ceiling and small ‘kitchenette’. A sofa bed is provided here for sleeping. In addition there is a superb master bedroom with double and single bed, the room is exceptionally pretty with dormer window and French doors, and another superb bathroom – this one with a Jacuzzi bath. And – most importantly, a gorgeous roof terrace with views of the sea, Alanya castle, and the Tauros mountains. Fully equipped with BBQ, garden furniture, sun beds etc. It’s a touch of paradise here, sipping gin and tonics (or even Raki..) in the evening sun.

Outside there is off road parking, landscaping and large swimming pool.

The standard throughout is extremely high; all the lower floor has marble flooring, and upstairs is ceramic. The kitchen has granite worktops, the bathrooms are fully tiled. There is air conditioning throughout, fly screens at the windows, and security screening. All beds are brand new, with pretty matching bed linen. The apartment has all the ‘white goods’ you would expect: Electric oven, electric and gas hob, dishwasher, big fridge/freezer, washing machine etc. There is solar heating for hot water, sunshine being in abundance!
